Beverly Stark spent her childhood in Devon and the Far East.  After reading English at  Cambridge, she worked in publishing before completing an MA in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University.

She divides her time between writing, teaching, helping other writers with their manuscripts and walking Jesse the dog.

She’s a keen supporter of Bath Rugby and the Somerset and England cricket teams and loves the theatre and Radio 4.  Life just feels better with Test Match Special.
